An Affiliate Programm is an agreement by which a Web site (called partner or affiliate) resells products and services to a company (merchant or provider). It’s an easy, free and fast way for you to earn money via the Internet by selling our products and services. All you have to do as a don Quijote partner (affiliate) is place one or more links to donquijote.org on your website and you will obtain a commission for every sale referred from these links. Moreover, we will also provide you with free educational content (Co–Brand Content) that you can place on your site to improve it and to obtain the loyalty of your visitors.
Commission rates will vary depending on the type of relationship you have with don Quijote. Standard affiliates earn an initial 10% on courses and accommodation, but we can pay you up to 15%, depending on your performance. Affiliates signed to our "Exclusivity clauses" earn 15% on our courses and accommodation, and moreover we help them to promote their sites. You may get between US$ 10 and more than US$ 1.500 for EACH student. We also pay 20% on online courses to all affiliates.

Commissions are paid monthly either by direct deposit to your account or by check, once the student´s invoice has been fully paid and the course has finished. There’s a minimum commission payment of 100€, if you do not reach this minimum in one period, the payment will postponed until the next one.
We use Cookie–Based ASP technology to track the sales from your links. A Cookie is a small text file that is placed in the visitor’s computer, with information our system can read. Each partner has a unique "tracking code". When the visitor clicks through a link placed in your website, our system puts a Cookie in their computer with your own tracking code, this allows us to know exactly where they come from. More than 99% of all computers connected to Internet have Cookies enabled.
We keep the cookies in the visitor’s computer for 180 days, meaning that if people click on your tracked links and visit us within 180 days, we will know that they come from your website, and when they order a brochure we store their information in our database (in an Intranet), with your affiliate code. So, after visitors visited your site they have 180 days to request more information, and then they’ll be your client forever! Even if they buy a course or come back many years later, you still get your commission.
We provide our partners with a password–protected control panel with their statistics of clicks, brochure requests and sales. In the control panel you will also find automatic link and page generators and a menu to modify your partner profile (contact information, payment method, etc). We provide you with free educational content, like Spanish word of the day, level test, jokes, etc. which are updated daily or weekly. This content will be displayed on your website using an "Iframe" (a window embedded in the web page) with a "In association with don Quijote" banner. You may also use pop-up windows or SQL to access this content. Please contact us if you want to use one of these options.
It is very easy put the co-brand content in your website. After connecting to your control panel in the partner’s website, use the generator tool to get the links for the content. You can customise the co-branded content with the colours of your website. See some examples:
Your obligations as our partner are only:
- Not to send the co–brand content to thrid parties.
- Not to promote our competitors on the same PAGES of your website where our co-brand content is diplayed.
There’s no minimum sales required, no fees, and you’re free to place the links as you like. We provide you with all the support you need to maximise the possibility of selling our services. You can opt out as affiliate at any time you want. There are a few other conditions for Special Affiliates, just ask us.
* don Quijote reserves the right to reject your application if we determine (in our sole discretion) that your site is unsuitable for the program.
Unsuitable sites include those that:
- promote sexually explicit materials.
- promote violence.
- promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
- promote illegal activities.
- otherwise violate intellectual property rights.
- Are owned by competitors of don Quijote.
