BUSINESS
Does it cost anything to become a dQ Affiliate?
Absolutely not! There is no charge to apply nor is there any minimum sales requirement.
What percentage of the sale will I earn as commission?
Commission rates vary depending on the product (in-country vs. online courses) and the amount sold. For complete commission details, please read the online agreement.
How and when are commissions paid?
Once the student has fully paid and departed upon finishing their program, commissions payments will be distributed, by direct deposit or check, in the first week of the following month. There is a minimum commission payment of 100€. If you have not reached the minimum balance then your balance will continue to accrue until you have. If for any reason you would like to receive your commission payment for balances of less than 100€, the transfer fee will be deducted from your commission disbursement. The currency is calculated on the day of the transfer based on current exchange rates.
Is there any other way to earn money besides on commission?
Our Affiliates Program is based solely on a pay-per-sale model. We no longer pay for clicks or leads.
What type of statistical information will you provide me with?
We will provide you with a secure online Affiliate account where you can view statistics such as clicks, brochure requests, and enrollments at any time.
I am interested, what are the next steps?
Simply read the online agreement and fill out the Join now form. Within 48 hours your account will be validated and you will receive your unique affiliate tracking code.
Can I participate if I live outside Spain?
Yes, our program is available to websites from any country.
Can a non-profit organization join the program?
Yes, you will be paid as well.
Can I cancel my affiliation?
Yes. You can cancel your online agreement at any time and for any reason by sending us a 15 day notice in writing.
Is my site eligible to participate?
Almost any site related to language, travel or Spanish-speaking countries are invited to register. However, don Quijote reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to reject your application if we consider your site unsuitable for the program.
Unsuitable sites include those that:
- Promote sexually explicit materials.
- promote violence.
- promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age.
- promote illegal activities.
- otherwise violate intellectual property rights.
- Are owned by competitors of don Quijote.
TECHNICAL
How do you track visitors from my site?
Your visitors are tracked by a cookie that lasts 180 days. If your visitor requests a brochure within this time frame then they will be entered into our student-tracking system with your affiliate code, allowing us to associate them to you forever. If they become our client now or in the future, you will get your commission. Need more information about. How it works?
How do I integrate this content into my site?
All of our content is stored in SQL databases which are accessed by ASP code. Our partners usually integrate this code into their sites with iFrames or pop-up windows. Our technical staff can answer any questions you may have about integrating our content into your website.
What if I have more than one website?
You can manage multiple websites within the same affiliate account. In your account's control panel, simply click on the "add site" link and follow the instructions.
