Spanish Gassip

Spanish media is obsessed by two things: football and gossip. If your Spanish is up to it, these sites offer a lively and revealing look into the private moments of the beautiful, rich and famous.

Diez Minutos: The magazine is a classic gossip fest with daily scoops based on the flimsiest of premises, and its website doesn't stray far from this brief, with story after story of love, separation, divorce, reconciliation and death. The two main chunks are headlined 'love' and 'partners'. For serious gossip addicts.

www.ElRumor.com: Has a broader outlook with a whole section devoted to international gossip. Serves up a daily diet of national gossip news and a good selection of pictures. It also handily summarizes what its competitors, including ¡Hola!, are up to. A separate section entitled Curiosidades brings together weird and wonderful news from around the world.

Hola: The dignified dowager aunt of the gossip world's website is a perfect reflection of the magazine: strong picture content and a round-up of well-known and less well-known aristocracy and showbiz folk. Apart from edited highlights from the present and past issues there is a report of the week, photo of the week and quote of the week. The site links to the British Hello! and French OhLa!
