The Brazilian soccer player Lucas Silva has begun an intensive Spanish course with don Quijote schools, leaders in Spanish as a foreign language education. Silva is taking a personalized program, created by the schools’ academic team, which will focus on rapid language learning and immersion in Spanish culture.
“He’s a bright and persistent student. He is very motivated to learn and explore cultural aspects of Spain” explains Esther Miguelez, a Spanish teacher with a decade of experience helping thousands of international students gain fluency in the language. She went on to add “We use our own method, adapting the most relevant aspects to suit the learning needs of each student”. Lucas will advance quickly in both his writing and conversation skills, which will be combined with English lessons. “The international scope of his sports career requires him to possess tools for global communication”.
Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world. Each year, thousands of students and professionals make the personal or professional decision to visit Spain and take Spanish classes at specialized schools. don Quijote and Enforex, schools belonging to Ideal Education Group, are world leaders in terms of the number of international students they receive in Spain and Latin America, where they have 24 schools in destinations such as: Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Malaga, Seville, Salamanca, Granada, and Alicante in Spain; Puerto Vallarta, Playa del Carmen in Mexico; Quito in Ecuador and San José de Heredia in Costa Rica. With over 25 years of experience, nearly a million students have taken classes at their schools and lived experiences in Spanish in home stay, residence, and other accommodation options prepared to meet the needs of students.
The group also offers Enforex’s exclusive international and sports camps, where each year thousands of young people from around the world share experiences with Spanish students aged 5 to 18 while learning Spanish and English and participating in activities such as tennis, soccer, horseback riding, golf, sailing, padel tennis, and creative workshops over the summer.
The group is 100% Spanish owned. Created in 1989, it has experienced rapid growth over the last 25 years, expanding its business to include language courses abroad for Spaniards, for which it is a leader in the Spanish market, and to become the largest international group in Spanish as a foreign language learning.
