Do I need to take special vaccinations before going to Mexico?
It is not compulsory, but is advisable. Before travelling make sure you have tetanus, typhus, polio, and diphtheria vaccines. Also, it may be wise to get medicine against malaria, and if you are extra cautious, vaccinations against hepatitis A, tuberculosis, and rabies.

Citizens of the United States and Canada don't even need a passport to enter Mexico.
There are several countries that do not require a visa to enter as a tourist; having a valid passport is enough. These countries are: Germany, Argentina, Australia, Belgium; Belize, Canada, Chile, South Korea, Costa Rica, Denmark, Ecuador, United States, Finland, France, Greece, Guatemala, Holland, Hungary, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Norway, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, and Dominican Republic.

Yes, Cusco is a safe city. Of course, we recommend that you be careful and behave as you would in your own country. For instance, don´t walk alone at night.

Do I need a visa to enter Peru?
A visa is required only for the following countries: Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Bulgaria, Russia, Pakistan, India, and China.
A tourist visa will allow you to stay upto 90 days in Peru. -

No, but we recommend getting the following vaccinations: Hepatitis A&B, Rabies, Typhoid, and Yellow Fever.
