International Language Camp in Granada
Our international Spanish language program in Granada is unique as it is geared towards more mature teenagers aged 14 to 18 who are interested in experiencing summer camp with less restrictions, and more free time and independence. Classes take place in our school in the city center and full board accommodation is offered in a student residence or with a local host family. Afternoons and weekends will be filled with a wide range of activities and excursions.
The famous city of Granada, founded by the Muslims in the middle ages, is undoubtedly most well-known for the magnificent Alhambra. Located in the province of Andalusia, it is one of the birthplaces of typical Spanish traditions like tapas and flamenco, so your teenagers will never be bored here.
Its proximity to other great cities like Seville and Cordoba make day trips perfectly possible. The mountain peaks of the Sierra Nevada are also conveniently close, as are the beaches of the Costa del Sol, allowing for a hike one day and a swim the next. Such is the beauty of the city that is has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and the city still appears strongly Islamic in its architecture. Other highlights of the city that you should see are the Royal Chapel, built by the Catholic Kings, as well as the Cathedral and the Muslim-era Generalife gardens.
