Chaffey and Rio Hondo community college´s, located in California, is offering a 4 week immersion program in Guanajuato, Mexico in partnership with don Quijote and the American Institute for Foreign Studies (AIFS) beginning in June, 2008. Students will have the opportunity to receive college credit in any one of four levels of Spanish while discovering a city whose beauty and serenity they will recognize in Mexico´s greatest art and literature.

Students enroll in 12-14 units of college credit in classes designed to enhance the study abroad experience and maximize the benefits of living and studying in Spain. Most classes meet general education requirements and are transferable for a bachelors degree. Courses are taught by faculty from colleges that are members of the Southern California Foothills Consortium and can include Salamanca based instructors

Verano Español is a six-week academic program in Madrid. Program dates for 2008 are Coming Soon. Participants live in Spanish homes and all courses are conducted in Spanish by native Spanish faculty. The program is designed for students at all levels of language proficiency who want to experience a total immersion in Spanish language.
