Cádiz is a splendid coastal city that is almost entirely surrounded by water, known for its immense sandy beaches. The old, central quarter of Cádiz is famous for its picturesque charm, and many of the buildings reflect the city's history. The old city looks quite Moorish in appearance and is intriguing with narrow cobbled streets opening onto small squares. It just takes an hour to walk around the headlands where you can visit the entire old town and pass through some lovely parks with sweeping views of the bay. Unlike most other ports of its size it seems immediately relaxed and easy going, not at all threatening, even at night.
Our parter school in Cádiz is located in the historical center, on one of the most central streets of the city, surrounded by squares, bars, shops, university faculties and only 5 mins. from the beach! This ideal location allows students to adapt quickly to the day to day life in Cádiz.
The school is situated in a beautiful Andalusian building dating from 1886, which conserves this period’s charm but at the same time has been renovated to adapt the need of the students. The school has 5 completely equipped classrooms, a computer room, a library, a TV and audio room, the reception and a patio.
We offer intensive (four hours per day) Spanish courses, from one week to as long as you’d like!
You can start your course on any Monday during the year, even if you are a beginner. (You may want to check the list of holidays in Cádiz as well as the pricelist before choosing your dates.)
The selection of teachers and the teaching method are very similar to those of don Quijote. This is we have chosen Cádiz to be a partner school
You can choose between two types of accommodation in Cádiz: a shared student flat or a room with a Spanish family. We also offer our students information about hotels and hostels in the city if this is preferred.
All accommodation has been selected and revised by our school’s personnel, assuring our students a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
We organize different activities every week. Some of them are completely free, for example : literature and cultural workshops, a guided tour of the city, visits to the museums and regular movie showings. We also organize : fiestas, BBQ´s, dinner, tapa routes, visits to the wine cellars, surf lessons, ceramics, flamenco and excursions to Seville, Granada, Ronda and other cities of interest.
We believe that extra curricular activities are fundamental to help students integrate into the city, get to know other students and to make learning Spanish more fun. Usually, the whole staff participates in the activities to create and even more familiar atmosphere.
Minimum 2 activities per week.
