Summer Camps General Conditions
1. HOW CAN I REGISTER & PAY FOR A COURSE AT ENFOCAMP?

First, you must send a €500 deposit fee* along with the completed registration form. If you prefer, you may pay up-front at this time for the complete course price (course + accommodation & any additional service). In any case, the complete program cost must be paid in full at least 4 weeks prior to the start of the program. You may pay the deposit and program fees by any of 2 ways:

*This deposit will be deducted from the final invoice and is non-refundable.
2. CANCELLATIONS / CHANGES
2.1. Courses Cancellations
2.1.1. All program fees must be paid 4 weeks prior to arrival.
2.1.2. The penalty will be US$1,500 / €1,000 for cancellations made 4 weeks before arrival.
2.1.3. No refund will be made once the program has started or the student has arrived in Spain.
2.1.4. All refunds will have an administration charge of 10% (a minimum of US$95 / €65).
2.1.5. All students who wish to cancel their program (course and/or accommodation) prior to their arrival should notify DON QUIJOTE in writing by fax, e-mail (infocentral@donquijote.org), letter or telegram. Cancellations not received via one of the 4 aforementioned means will not be accepted.
2.1.6. Once the chosen program has begun (Spanish course and/or accommodation), the student will not receive any type of refund (except in the cases of cancellation policy).
2.1.7. DON QUIJOTE cannot be held responsible for cancellations due to Act of God, health or personal problems.
2.1.8. Cancellation fee after a Visa is issued is a minimum of US$2,200 / €1,500 .
2.2. Accommodation Changes
Any change of accommodation, school or program after arrival will incur a fee of US$175 /€125.
3. INSURANCE
3.1. Medical
All ENFOCAMP students in Spain are covered by a standard insurance policy. To see an overview of the policy you will receive, please check www.donquijote.org/insurance/. If you would simply like to obtain a wider coverage, we advise you to purchase this in your own country.
3.2.Civil liability
ENFOCAMP has an accident and civil liability insurance policy that covers minor accidents that may occur within its centers. ENFOCAMP is not responsible for the loss or theft of students' personal property, for which we recommend you take out your own insurance policy.
3.3. Protection of Personal data
In compliance with Spanish Law 15/1999, December 13, regarding the protection of personal data, don Quijote would like to inform you that your personal details within these general conditions will be stored in a database (whose liability and responsibility is IDEAL EDUCATION GROUP - ENFOCAMP), solely for the commercial and operative purposes of the company. By accepting these general conditions you give your consent to the above said treatment and for their use for the aforementioned purposes. At the same time, you have the right to request that we inform you of your rights to access, correct and cancel such information within the established terms of the prevailing legislation, by writing to the address: Calle Placentinos nº 2 - 37008-Salamanca - Spain.
4. GUARANTEES & GENERAL CONDITIONS
4.1. DON QUIJOTE is a fully private enterprise and accredited center of the Instituto Cervantes in Granada, Salamanca, Tenerife and Valencia.
4.2. Don Quijote guarantees that all programs, accommodations, and complementary services described in the brochure for the year 2010 are true (any and all special arrangements and/or agreements should be set in writing and signed by Don Quijote ).
4.3. The personnel in charge of airport pick-up and transportation to accommodation are insured, completely familiar with the area and know exactly where the students are to be dropped off.
4.4. Don Quijote is a member of the following international organisations: wysetc , NAFSA, ALTO, AEEM, ACELE, AEEG, AELE, FEDELE, AMEELE & AECAE.
4.5. Our academic centers in Barcelona, Granada, Madrid, Salamanca, Tenerife and Valencia have received the Certificate of Quality in the Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language ("CEELE"), approved by the Philology Department of the University of Alcalá, the Association Eduespaña and by the Madrid Chamber of Commerce.
4.6. ENFOCAMP guarantees a maximum of 14 students per classroom.
4.7. Students should be aware that they may appear in ENFOCAMP's promotional materials or photos.
5. ACCOMMODATIONS
5.1. For registrations received a week or less prior to the beginning of a course, don Quijote does not guarantee the type of accommodation desired and requested by the studentdue to the fact that priority is given to those students who have registered further in advance.
5.2. In the event that a student is not satisfied with the assigned accommodation and he/she is rightfully justified in his claim, he/she will be allowed to change to another accommodation of the same type (3 changes maximum) and should let his/her wishes be known to the person in charge during his first week of staying in the program.
5.3. All students should inform Don Quijote or the host family in advance of their approximate time of arrival. In the event that one of the previously mentioned parties is not contacted, Don Quijote will not be held responsible for greeting or picking up the student upon arrival.
5.4. When a student enrolled in a Spanish course requires accommodation for a family member or friend, Don Quijote does not guarantee said accommodation due to the fact
that other DON QUIJOTE students have priority regarding the accommodations.
5.5. If a student decides that he/she wants to postpone or take a break from any program for unjustified personal reasons, he/she will lose any right to a monetary refund, and the
course will not be made up.
6. AIRPORT PICK-UP SERVICES
6.1.The flight information (place, date, hour and flight number) must be confirmed in writing at least one week prior to arrival. Otherwise, Don Quijote will not be held responsible for picking up the student at the airport and there will be no refund.
6.2. If the student cancels the airport pick-up service less than one week prior to arrival, he/she will lose his/her right to a refund of the cost of said service.
6.3. In the event of any delay or changes in flight information without previous notification, Don Quijote will not be held responsible for picking up the student at the airport.
7. USEFUL IN FORMATION
7.1. Visas for Spain
7.1.1 Citizens of countries belonging to the European Union do not need a Visa to enter Spain.
7.1.2. Students coming from other countries should obtain information regarding the requirements for obtaining a Visado (Visa) at their nearest Spanish Embassy or Consulate.
The certificates that accredit and confirm the enrollment in a Spanish program at Don Quijote can only be signed, sealed and sent by people authorized by Don Quijote, who will not be held responsible for rejected Visa applications due to the fact that these documents do not have any official power and merely serve as confirmation of a course in one of our centres. Such documents will only be sent to cover the amount of course time initially contracted by the student. Don Quijote will send out, free of charge and to any student who asks for them, the following documents (if and only if the total cost of the program has been paid):
- Confirmation of the Spanish program chosen by the student.
- Invoice for the total cost of the program in question (course + accommodation).
7.1.3. In the event that the student should urgently need the originals of any of these documents, Don Quijote will send them and charge the cost of the express mail to the student (€110).
7.1.4. If student visa is rejected Don Quijote will charge the student €100 per invitation letter sent, the €500 deposit and any additional basic costs (under no circumstances will the money already paid be refunded). The student will be obliged to show Don Quijote a clear copy of the original formal proof of the rejected visa in order to receive the refund. If this copy is not received by Don Quijote , 100% of the cost of the program will be charged.
7.1.5.Any refund from Don Quijote will have a 10% charge
8. AGREMENT
Upon signing the registration form or paying the course fees, the student accepts all the conditions described above. If, under any circumstances uncontrollable by Don Quijote, the prices of accommodations go up, Don Quijote will notify the student ahead of time of said changes. This brochure replaces the previously existing one and is valid from January 1st 2010 until December 31st 2010 for all programs taking place between these two dates.
Don Quijote is not responsible for typographical errors and/or misprints contained in this brochure.
