Etymology: Del latín penicillus, diminutivo de penis, pene, rabo, a través del catalán pinzell.
Meaning: Instrumento con que el pintor asienta los colores en el lienzo, etc. Hácese de un cañón de pluma, madera o metal, metiéndole dentro pelos de la cola de las ardillas, fuinas, martas u otros animales, ajustándolos o puliéndolos.
