Beat the egg yolks with the 6 whole eggs and the 350g sugar until you have a soft mixture; mix together the grated lemon peel, flour, syrup and ground almonds and then add them to the egg and sugar mixture. Beat the egg whites with the 50g sugar until they are stiff and then add them to the mixture. Mix it all together carefully and add it to a greased mould. Put it in a pre-heated oven at 170 ºC. Leave it to cool and fill it with jam, truffles...
You can decorate it by putting chocolate eggs on top.
