Pears in Vanilla Sauce

Pears in Vanilla sauce



Peel the pears and carefully cut them into fan shapes. Put them in an oven dish, sprinkle them with 40g sugar and add the butter in a small pile on top. Put the tray on the middle shelf of the oven at (180º) for about 15 minutes so that they are cooked, but so they do not break.
Meanwhile heat the milk with the vanilla pod. In a separate bowl beat the egg yolks with the remaining sugar so that the mix stays soft. Add a little hot oil, mix and then add it to the milk. Mix continuously with a wooden spoon and leave it to cook on a low heat until the cream thickens slightly. Take the pears out of the oven, put them on a serving dish with the vanilla cream underneath and decorate with the red fruits. Serve immediately.
