Bean stew



The beans for this recipe should be soaked for three hours prior to starting cooking. In a cooking pot put half of the oil in to heat and lightly fry the onion which should be chopped finely, the Serrano ham, the pork and the chorizo all of which should be cut into pieces. When it has taken colour, add the beans. Then add two and a half litres of water, season with salt and pepper and let it all cook on the heat for 3 hours. Throughout this time add the bread, fried with the remaining oil. Serve hot.
