Spanish School in Mendoza, Argentina
Located in downtown Mendoza, the school is just five minutes away from the main pedestrian area and is equally close to some of the city’s most important places of interest including Colon Avenue, Parque Cívico, City Hall and Casa de Gobierno. The school itself has 6 classrooms, a staff room, a kitchen, a meeting room (to be used during breaks and free time), a video room, a computer room with free internet access and a beautiful backyard with a barbecue grill.
* The school reserves the right to change a group course into Private Classes if there is no other student at the same level. If this happens, there will be a reduction of class hours of 50%.
Classes consist of four 55-minute lessons a day in groups of no more than 7 students. The course is complemented by extra-curricular activities, which students may participate in their free time. Classes are divided into two blocks with a break of twenty minutes in between.
Accommodation in Mendoza
Carefully selected families, located within 10 to 25 minutes from the school, offer you single rooms with breakfast only or half board. There are no meals provided on Sundays in any type of accommodation.
Activities and Excursions
Students’ favorite activities include visiting the wineries in Mendoza, exploring the Patagonia Museum and ice skating by Bariloche’s Nahuel Huapi lake. As for the more adventurous, Mendoza equally offers the chance to raft or kayak down the Andes rapids or to ski in the Northeast’s numerous international ski resorts.
Mendoza is an ideal place to learn Spanish and explore Argentina, with excellent opportunities to practice rafting, kayaking, skiing and many other outdoor sports combined with your Spanish course.
