Spanish school in Playa Tamarindo
The school sits right on the beach, a perfect place for relaxing in the tropical sun after class. You can even take in peaceful coastal landscapes in the school’s break area, which is right on the sand.
You’ll stay cool during class in the school’s air-conditioned classrooms. You can also head up to the top floor break area to hang out with friends or participate in cultural activities organized by the school.
With a permanent population of just 500 people, everything in the small town of Tamarindo is just a short walk away from the school.
Spanish courses in Playa Tamarindo
Class sizes are a maximum of 6 students, guaranteeing that you get plenty of personalized attention from your teacher and time to interact in Spanish. The teaching method is structured to teach students conversational grammar skills and to allow them to put their newly acquired Spanish to practical use in class.
Each class is 55 minutes and takes place from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Class may also be held from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm during the high season.
Accommodation in Playa Tamarindo
You can choose from the following accommodation options:
- Homestay: Students stay in their own room and receive breakfast and dinner in the home of a local family. Students are also given their own key and are free to come and go as they wish. Most of these homes are in the towns of Villa Real and Santa Rosa. Although these towns are located about 3-5 miles from school, public transportation is inexpensive and frequent. Taxis can also be taken at just about any hour.
- Coastal hotel: Students can also choose to stay in a Tamarindo hotel that is within walking distance of the school.
