Movie stars, producers, filmmakers, directors and fans flock to Puerto Vallarta from all over the world to become part of the festivities. For one whole week, the city plays host to variety of motion picture screenings, conferences, galas, art expos, free concerts and a whole lot more. This festival showcases contemporary full-length films and documentaries from North and South America with a focus on independent films and those with environmental themes.
