This brightly-coloured, artistic building is Castile and Leon’s most popular museum and features a huge number of art nouveau and art deco items such as furniture, bronze statues, porcelain figures as well as holding temporary exhibitions.

Museo de Salamanca - Museo de Bellas Artes
This museum is small but filled with sculptures, paintings and archaeological finds from the area. The building is also a part gothic, part renaissance noble mansion which is stunning in itself.

This is a stunning building holding clerical robes and artwork. The ceiling fresco of the Escuelas Menores is of the zodiac and in the Expositions Room there are two other beautiful ceilings of different styles. One Mudejar, and one Renaissance.

This traditional Spanish sport/cultural event is represented right here in the centre of Salamanca with a small but jam-packed museum full of paintings, information, photos and even bullfighter’s costumes. A truly interesting visit.

Salamanca Museum of the History of the Automobile
This museum houses a very large collection of cars dating far back to the beginning of the automobile up to the current day and even futuristic models. There are over 100 models and this is not just a place for car lovers.
