Discover Valencia

Think Valencia and think learning Spanish among parks filled with palm trees, beach boardwalks, fresh fish, shrimp and saffron smells wafting from steaming paelleras, a special golden, green light at sunset, some of the country’s most stunning street art, the booming, burning Fallas and equally traditional falleros, the sand, the sun, old city streets and architectural treasures... Valencia is simply spectacular. It feels like a large, modern, cosmopolitan city and a traditional, familiar, small town all at once. You will learn Spanish in Valencia beneath its sunny skies and with the city’s sunny locals who will invite you to practice everything you’ve learned in your classes as you discover the city. It is a place that will inspire you to dive into Spain’s traditions and culture, and to truly immerse yourself in Spanish.

Our school

Our Spanish school in Valencia is housed in the city’s former Círculo de Bellas Artes (Fine Art Center), a fully renovated 15th century palace bursting with culture and old world charm. You will be able to learn Spanish with our passionate and experienced teachers right in the center of the city. You’ll be inspired to learn in the historic building’s 18 comfortable and bright classrooms equipped with the best educational resources, or while relaxing in its beautiful courtyards and gardens. Then when you leave class, you’ll step out into the heart of it all, the city’s El Carmen neighborhood, filled with both historical treasures and modern city excitement keeping you immersed in and enthralled by the Spanish language and culture.

What we love about Valencia

Valencia is a beach town and an elegant city all in one. You can wander from the beach up through the gorgeous Turia Gardens Park, and by the time you get to the city center the sand will have dried and fallen from your feet, and you’ll be ready to wander into any of the city’s fantastic restaurants or one of its many museums. We love how the locals in Valencia are proud of their cultural heritage and will find any excuse to shout it out and show it during their famous festivals (see: las Fallas, and the booming mascletà). We love that Valencia is a city where Spanish culture and the best of Spain’s climate and natural beauty are combined, inspiring everyone who visits. But most of all, we love that Valencia is a happy city where the sun shines down in Spanish and you can simply soak it all in.

What our students are saying about us

"It was such a great experience learning Spanish with don Quijote in Valencia and I can really say I had the time of my life. I stayed with other students in a student flat and I was always given all the help I needed. I also participated in cultural classes, and it was Las Fallas week which gave us a great insight into the whole tradition of the festival and I really enjoyed it. I will definitely do another course with don Quijote, but I would like to experience a different town, maybe Granada since I have also heard great comments about it."
