For years, one of my dreams was to visit Spain, specifically Andalusia, but I always had to postpone the trip for some reason. The program for students over 50 at don Quijote helped me make my decision. Having the chance to improve my Spanish during my two-week vacation made me so excited. This program helped me discover the culture that surrounds the traditional festival of Semana Santa in Malaga. I fell in love with the city from the first moment I saw it. I loved eating fish at a beach bar with my classmates, going shopping on Calle Larios and talking with the locals, they were so nice!

SARAH (STUDENT - MALAGA)

I studied a little Spanish in my country, but I had a full-time job and didn´t have enough time to dedicate myself to the language. So, doing an intensive course in Spain seemed like the best way to give my Spanish a boost. Although at the beginning I was not sure if it had been such a good idea to spend my vacation studying, I soon realized that with the methodology of don Quijote I learned almost without realizing it and I kept practicing once I left class. Having the chance to enjoy the Carnival of Tenerife and explore the island while learning and practicing my Spanish was the best. Seeing the landscape from the top of Mount Teide is a memory I’ll treasure for the rest of my life!
