Obelisco de Santo Domingo

Popularly known as ‘Male Obelisk’, this monument is one of the most relevant in Dominican history. But, if you expect it to be a boring white stone construction, you’ll be disappointed. This tower shines in vivid colors and serves as canvas for Dominican urban artists. Come and admire the impressive murals containing paintings of important historical characters, such as the Mirabal Sisters.
